RG59/U Siamese Zip Cable is ideal for CCTV installations

What is a Siamese Zip Cable?
Siamese Zip Cable, also known as ZIP, is a type of cable which connects two different cable types to one common cable strand by placing them side to side in two separate PVC jacketed sheathing. One side is RG59/U used for video signal and the other side is 18/2 used to provide power. They are each bound separately then placed side by side separated by a dimpled track in the cable. This track can easily be pulled apart or "zipped" for installation. The benefit is that Siamese Zip Cable provides both video and power cable in one easy to pull strand, is more cost effective, makes for faster cable runs and provides for a clean run by being able to separate the RG59/U and 18/2 only at the place needed.
