HDcctv is all about HDTV quality video surveillance over coax!
By using broadcast compliant high definition video signals (HDTV) and
transmitting these signals digitally over conventional CCTV cable
without 'packetization', this give us the ability to produce High
Definition video images without the compression latency that's experienced in
IP Cameras.
HDcctv uses Serial Digital Interface (SDI) transmission, used by the broadcast industry for transmitting HDTV signals. By using SDI, this enables us to transmit 720P and 1080P resolution over quality coaxial cable, uncompressed and non-packetized. Just like analog, SDI starts streaming directly out of the source (the camera), line by line to a receiver (HDcctv DVR) with no latency.
What's the learning curve? There is no additional training required to install HDcctv because there is no difference between an analog and HDcctv installation. An installer simply uses quality coax and replaces the existing analog cameras and DVR with an HDcctv DVR & HDcctv cameras. This allows installers to offer true High Definition images where needed without having to replace an entire surveillance system. No need to learn IP to achieve HDcctv and no networking required for each camera...making this a seamless transition from Analog to HDcctv.
